Blue is one of my favourite colours and I felt compelled to sit amongst the Bluebells and put paint to canvas. After an altercation with some cows I finally set to painting the young trees growing through the thick carpet of bluebells and the end result was Blue Blue Bluebells.

I was very lucky that the Yorkshire Post photographer happened to be passing as I was painting and took a great shot which appeared in his paper.

I was commissioned to create a front cover for The Harrogate Review, Tour de Yorkshire 2017 edition. I was happy to get involved and lots of drawing, measuring and paper cutting ensued. The end result was a miniature paper cut map depicting the route of Stage 2 of the Tour de Yorkshire 2017.
