Article about Anita in The Dalesman Magazine January 2022

I was delighted to be phoned, one day, by Andrew Gallon, a freelance journalist enquiring if I had ever been featured in The Yorkshire Dalesman magazine. I hadn’t so Andrew arranged to come and interview me in the gallery. He was really thorough and asked many questions about my journey to becoming an artist, my inspirations, paintings, how I paint, my background in retailing and fashion.
The result Is a 4-page spread in the magazine complete with images of painting such as Cherry blossom, a recent Valley Gardens Café painting, Staithes and a hare in buttercups. Andrew has captured my life in perfectly written, mini biography.

Thank you, Andrew for writing such a great article.

The magazine is out this month until 23rd January and is fitting that it should come out in my 10th year anniversary of The Dove Tree Art Gallery.

Had a fabulous time at the gardens of Monet in the tranquil village of Giverny. Made all the more exciting when a massive storm hit the village the evening we arrived - ended up eating my Sea Bass in a plate full of rainwater..... as the restaurant got deluged!
