The Water Garden with a Heron (Original Painting, Unframed)

I was drawn to paint this vibrant scene in the gardens of Newby Hall, Ripon. There was so much to look at and get down on canvas. I loved the bright colours of candelabra primulas contrasting the green surroundings and pond with a heron and waterlilies! Spot the dragonfly.
