The Rock Garden at Newby Hall

I was very fortunate to have access to the gardens at Newby Hall, Ripon, Yorkshire in the Autumn, and Winter when the award-winning Gardens and the House are shut to the public. I am creating a collection of paintings of iconic, well-loved scenes over the Seasons, around the gardens.
 
I loved painting this tranquil vista using my signature, moss, leaves and fallen twigs dipped into acrylic paint to create texture.
 
This artwork is part of a collection of Newby Hall iconic scenes I am painting outside around the Gardens.  Painted on canvas, this picture can be hung straight on the wall, no framing is required.
