Rhododendron Walk at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, March

ABA70072

This original painting in acrylic, gouache and watercolour, which was created in March 2019 at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, is framed in a pale wood frame.

Tucked away in the woods, Anita discovered this path of stunning Rhododendrons. All she could hear was the songbirds and in particular a friendly Robin which you can see as well as a Fox.

Anita painted this scene outside using just twigs, moss and leaves.

These Rhododendrons were first planted here 60 years ago.

Anita has been appointed the Artist-in-Residence at RHS Garden Harlow Carr and this is the seventh in a series of 12 paintings she will be creating up to September 2019.
