Magical Snowfall over Whitby, Yorkshire (Limited Edition Giclée Print)

Inspired by a trip to Whitby, on the East Coast of Yorkshire, I created this painting for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Christmas card in 2022.

Whitby is an iconic seaside town on the East Coast of Yorkshire full of history and a very popular tourist destination.

I loved painting this scene with a family sitting on a bench looking over to the Abbey and Castle. You can see the famous 199 steps leading down the hill towards the harbour. Two family Labradors sit next to their owners. A child hugs one. Spot the Robin and Seagull. I chose Scandinavian colours for this painting.
