Situated near Snowdonia Mountain, stands Conwy Castle. Built 700 years ago it is one of the most well-preserved Medieval fortresses in Europe. I painted outside here at 6am in the morning over a few days, using acrylic paint and brushes, with some moss. The clear blue sky reflecting in the water.
