The Cobbled Landing at Filey (Original Painting, framed)

I know Filey, an unspoilt seaside town on the East Coast of Yorkshire so well as we used to come here as children several times a year for our holidays. The ancient Cobbled Landing is the home to the town’s fishing boats. I began to paint this picture during a sea fret sheltered under a canopy. You can see the marks the raindrops made on the watercolour paper – Filey water!! Spot the Brigg in the background along with Filey Sailing Club.

The paper is deckled at the edge and float mounted.
