Hazlewood Castle, unframed original paper cut

Anita Bowerman is Artist in Residence at Hazlewood Castle, near York and was inspired to undertake this major paper cut out art project which took two months to complete.

Anita loves to add every detail to her paper cutting artworks and if you look carefully you can see the bride and groom, a cat and a Heron.

This would make a special gift for a couple who have married or are going to get married at Hazlewood Castle.

Hazlewood Castle dates back to the 12th Century and over the ensuing years has been used as a family home, monastery and even a maternity hospital. Today it is open to the public and run as a hotel by Ashdale Hotels, mainly as a wedding venue and spa.
