We Three Sheep (Limited Edition Giclée Print)

Sheep make fascinating subjects, and I encountered these three sheep grouped together in a field near our house. It reminded me of the Christmas hymn The Three Kings of Orient are.

I love their expressions and the fact that each sheep has a different face. Over the years I have painted many sheep in particular Amanda Owen, The Yorkshire Shepherdess’s flock of sheep on Amanda Owen’s farm at Ravenseat, North Yorkshire.
