The Moon Hare (Original Canvas - framed)

There is something wonderfully peaceful about watching a hare pause in a wildflower meadow beneath a glowing summer moon.  Painted in acrylic, I spent many hours carefully building the rich texture of the hare’s fur with fine layers of colour, allowing every brushstroke to reflect its character and warmth. The moonlight catches the wildflowers dancing through the grasses, while the full moon casts a golden glow across the landscape.

Inspired by Yorkshire’s beautiful hay meadows and the wildlife that inhabits them.  This piece celebrates the wondrous brown hare and nature.
