I sat outside on a stunning, sunny day and painted this view of the Crag using twigs, moss and leaves to apply the acrylic paint to the watercolour paper.

There was May Blossom out and insects and birds added to the atmosphere. Almscliffe Crag is a millstone outcrop which dates back thousands of years. It is beloved by walkers and rock climbers and is a breathtaking spot to watch the sun rise or set, as you can see for miles.
