Stream-side at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, June

ABA70073

This original painting in acrylic and gouache, which was created in June 2019 at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, is framed in a pale wood frame.

Anita painted this beautiful scene from the bridge near the memorial stone to Geoffrey Smith who helped create RHS Garden Harlow Carr. She painted outside surrounded by the delicate perfume of Wisteria using twigs, moss and leaves.

You can see the famous colourful Harlow Carr Candelabra Primulas and Himalayan Blue Poppies.

Spot the tiny Yellow Wagtail which kept drinking from the stream.

Anita has been appointed the Artist-in-Residence at RHS Garden Harlow Carr and this is the tenth in a series of 12 paintings she will be creating up to September 2019.
