Situated on the East Coast of Yorkshire lies the small, unspoilt, seaside town of Filey. Many Yorkshire families have and do spend their holidays here. Indeed I spent my first 16 years on holiday here. My grandma had a flat in the Crescent so I know it well.

It’s funny how life is. I was contacted ‘out of the blue’ by David Lloyd, Harrogate Health Club, asking me if I would like to display my artwork on the Club’s walls. It seems the management had been looking for some time for a local artist and felt my style of painting, based on nature, in uplifting colours was a perfect fit for the club and their members in Harrogate.

Kate, Amanda’s sheepdog is hugging her, Clemmie is riding Tony the Pony, Clive is on his tractor there are Spring lambs, chicks, a calf and daffodils. A perfect Spring scene!
